The boys from the vocal formation Svetoglas are representing Bulgaria this year at one of the biggest and most prestigious vocal festivals in the world - Acappella-Leipzig. They will perform a programme of Bulgarian folklore and Slavonic Orthodox chants which have been part of their repertoire since Svetoglas was founded in 2009.

Svetoglas is the first Bulgarian all-male vocal formation for old polyphonic music and it has so far represented Bulgaria at festivals and with concert tours in Germany, Austria, Norway, Sweden, the US, Russia, Belgium, Spain, Columbia, Italy, Hungary, Turkey and other countries. “The mystery of Bulgarian polyphony” is Svetoglas’  trademark in Bulgaria and around the world.

Their concert in Leipzig is at 8 PM on 9 May in Evangelisch Reformierte Kirche.
