Marieta Georgieva climbed Mount Everest (8,848 meters) and became the third Bulgarian female climber to summit the highest peak on the planet. Marieta Georgieva climbed Everest as part of a commercial expedition led by legendary mountaineer Nirmal Purja. He led the expedition alongside two other famous mountaineers, Mingma David Sherpa and Mingma Tenzi Sherpa. Elite Exped confirmed that Marieta Georgieva is among those who successfully summited Everest.
