The Faculty of Economics and Business Administration at Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridski" is now a full member of the prestigious network of business schools and corporations EFMD Global. Membership was approved by the organization's General Assembly on June 10 in Bologna, Italy, the Sofia University said.

EFMD brings together companies and academic institutions, facilitating connections and data exchange between them in the field of management education. With the faculty’s official membership in the network, students and lecturers will gain free access to a wide range of learning opportunities, professional development, and a network of free contacts, the university said. The Sofia University emphasized that the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration reaffirms its mission to provide students with opportunities for development at an international level and to attract foreign students and scholars to Bulgaria.
