Ludogorets lost the return away match, by 0-1, versus Dinamo Batumi, Georgia, but did qualify for the Champions’ League’s second qualifying round with a score of 3-2.
The Bulgarian team won the first match a week ago in their home town of Razgrad by 3-1 and were considered the favourite for the return match but, expectedly, encountered stiff resistance from the Georgian champion.
