Children from the Ruse Diocese participate in an Orthodox camp at the Troyan Monastery

Thirty children and young people from the Ruse Diocese are participating in an Orthodox camp at the Troyan Monastery, which will last until August 24.

The camp, organized by the Ruse Diocese, Theosis Association, and supported by the Social Protection Fund, is being financed by the state for the first time, said project leader Marusya Tsvetanova.

The program includes participation in liturgical services, iconography, calligraphy, learning liturgical chants, walks and picnics in nature, various games, etc", said Marusya Tsvetanova. She added that during the camp, participants will be part of the rhythm and life of the monastery. They will learn to prepare their own food and build harmonious relationships within the community.
