Weather forecast for August 19

Hot weather with precipitation in some places

Monday will be mostly sunny. Cumulus will develop over the western half of the country and in some places there will be short-term precipitation accompanied by thunder. The highest temperature will be between 31° and 36°C; in Sofia – around 33°C.

It will be mostly sunny in the mountains. In the western half of the country and in the massifs in south-western Bulgaria, short-term precipitation with thunder is expected. There will be conditions for hail. The wind will be moderate from the east-southeast. The highest temperature at 1200 m above sea level will be about 27°C, at 2000 m - about 20°C.

It will be mostly sunny at the Black Sea coast. There will be temporary increases in cloudiness before noon. The highest temperature will be 28°-31°C and the sea water temperature is 27°-29°C.
