The number of foreign tourists visiting Bulgaria’s southern Black Sea coast during the summer season is the same as last year, according to data from Burgas Airport. 1.2 million foreigners visited the Southern Black Sea coast this summer, which is significantly fewer than the 3 million tourists registered in 2019. The last scheduled charter flight for the season is on October 25 from Antalya. A slight increase in the number of tourists is expected in September and October compared to last year, said Burgas Airport Director Vasil Atanasov.

"The UK is back in first place in terms of the number of tourists, followed by Poland, Germany, Czechia and Israel", Vasil Atanasov said.
