World famous Russian ophthalmologist Ernest Muldashev visits Sofia

Russian ophthalmologist Professor Ernest Muldashev is the first physician in the world that has performed a transplantation of an eye. He invented the biological material "alloplant" at the end of last century. The material was produced from tissues of dead people that passed through complex chemical processing in a laboratory. The human body does not reject these tissues, as it does sometimes with transplanted organs. This is exactly the feature of the alloplant that the professor uses. Thus his invention saved many people from eternal darkness. He said that the idea for the alloplant came from God. The Russian scientist is convinced that science and religion are two sides of human knowledge and that their interaction could reveal new horizons in front of science. That is why he organized four expeditions to India, Nepal and Tibet under the auspices of the UN’s International Academy of Science.

“All these expeditions had one question to answer and that was that I myself couldn’t understand fully my own invention. I simply don’t know enough about medicine on Earth. When you invent something, you should be aware of the philosophic fundament of the problems, then the medical one and finally the particular case – for instance eye surgery. And exactly the philosophic aspect, the different point of view towards everything existing pulls you to such expeditions in search of new knowledge. Generally, this new knowledge is the old knowledge that has been long forgotten. Above all, these are the mysteries of the great Tibetan medicine.”

Prof. Muldashev is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the International Academy of Science. He has developed over 80 completely new kinds of plastic surgeries and is the author of over 300 scientific researches that have been patented in Russia, the USA, Germany, France, Italy and Switzerland. His invention is revolutionary for regenerative surgery. Alloplants can be used in ophthalmology, as well as in oral and maxillofacial surgery, dentistry, plastic and chest surgery, neurosurgery, traumatology etc. The professor also claims that the alloplant can be useful in treatment of many incurable for the traditional medicine illnesses. Alloplant that fights stress and fear has also been invented in the Russian Eye and Plastic Surgery Center, created by the professor in the town of Ufa. Mr. Muldashev has traveled around some 40 countries, where he has operated many people with incurable diseases and many of the surgeries have been charitable. People from all over the world come to the town of Ufa to seek help. Many Bulgarian patients are treated there. The professor has a special attitude towards them:
“My father is a Tartar and my mother – Ukrainian – he explains. – All the Tartars in the region of the Volga River had called themselves Bulgarians before Ivan the Terrible conquered the city of Kazan. That was why my grandmother used to say: “You are not a Tartar, you are Bulgarian. The Bulgarians have a specific quality – their souls are as pure as a child’s soul. Bulgaria has been a great country in the past and I think that it is about to regain its previous glory. You are amazing people - you haven’t lost your spirit even through the 5 centuries of slavery. Just like the kids, you possess that romantic element, that magic wand that helps you remain untouched, no matter of the situation.”
