Which is faster – a Formula 1 car or the MiG 29 jet fighter? The result of the competition will become clear during the official celebrations dedicated to the 100th anniversary of Bulgarian aviation. 40 airplanes, 10 helicopters, and other aircraft will participate in the air show on the 3th and 4th of September in the city of Plovdiv, in which pilots from 10 different countries will take part. The first flights in Bulgaria started in Plovdiv. During the first international exhibition there three Bulgarians made a demonstration flight with balloon. The year was 1892.
