Yordan Yovchev ends active sporting career

The legend of Bulgarian sport Yordan Yovchev has put an end to his active sporting career. The 39-year-old gymnast has become the first athlete in gymnastics to have competed at six Olympic Games by joining the London Olympics earlier this month. He was Olympic vice-champion in the rings event in Athens 2004 and has three Olympic bronze medals – in rings and floor in Sydney 2000 and in floor in Athens. The great Bulgarian gymnast is four times world champion and one time European champion.
