Also, we offer you more on an exciting event taking place for the first time ever in Bulgaria and Sofia in particular – a festival of ice sculptures. Sofia Ice Fest is running in Bulgaria’s capital from January 31st till February 6th, offering visitors the chance to see pieces of ice sculpture made by world-famous ice artists Ruslan Korovkov from Russia and Irina Taflevskaya from Ukraine, and also a special ice bar made entirely out of huge ice blocks welcomes ice fans.
If you happen to be in Sofia on one of the next days, you could take a peek at our, Bulgarian-made ice sculptures. Or share with us images of other ice festivals you’ve visited – you could send these to us by email or post them directly on our wall in Facebook at Radio Bulgaria English Service.
Also on the show, some reminiscences of the glory days of RB on shortwave and in view of the forthcoming World Radio Day, we elaborate on the future of this medium now. More on the same topic will be coming in the next edition of AYL.
Have an enjoyable listen!
