Sofia city prosecutor resigns

Sofia City Prosecutor Nikolay Kokinov has resigned over a leaked audio with a conversation involving him, former PM Boyko Borissov and former agriculture minister Miroslav Naydenov. The audio reveals how, counter to the law, the city prosecutor discussed with Boyko Borissov lawsuits and the behavior of witnesses. It has become known that prosecutor Kokinov provided information to the former PM so that he would be able to plan his political actions. Overall the discussion was on how to hamper justice which constitutes serious crime.
