Charity game in support of Stiliyan Petrov and children suffering from leukemia is played in Sofia

A charity game is played on Sunday afternoon at Vassil Levski National Stadium in support of Bulgarian football star Stiliyan Petrov and children suffering from leukemia. Veterans from the last football club where Stiliyan Petrov has played, Aston Villa, faced legends from Bulgaria’s national team. The tickets are at affordable price of 10 leva as all funds raised will be donated to charity causes for children suffering from leukemia. Stiliyan Petrov who is fighting with the disease for a couple of years made a video address calling on people to support the campaign.

The team of the Bulgarian football legends bet the Aston Villa veterans with 4:2. Striker Dimitar Berbatov scored two goals and Martin Petrov and Petar Mihtarski scored one each.
