Bulgarian Army receives U.S. equipment totaling 12.5 million dollars

The Bulgarian Armed Forces would receive communication and special equipment totaling USD 12.5 million. The equipment will improve the abilities of the Bulgarian contingent in Afghanistan for exchanging security information in real time and will contribute to enhancing the effectiveness of the actions of the military. In 2014 equipment that is to improve the safety and mobility of personnel in the ISAF mission in Afghanistan is also expected by the Bulgarian contingent.
