Bulgaria lost one of the most talented composers of popular music – Boris Karadimchev. He is the author of more than 300 songs and tunes. He has also written the music to 120 cartoons, some of which hold prestigious international awards, like “Wedding” (Golden Palm in Cannes) and “Tenth Circle” (the Festival of Bilbao 1998). For many years Karadimchev was art director of the Pim-Pam choir and professor at the National Academy for Theater and Film Art. The composer is holder of numerous distinctions like the festival in Sochi (1967), the Golden Orpheus, 1967, 1977, 1978, overall artistic contribution – 1997. We have lost not only a most talented and lover composer but a radiant and highly positive personality, whose art has accompanied the life of several generations now.
