Police arrests three Czech nationals for smuggling valuables

A joint operation of the State Agency for National Security, the Ministry of the Interior and the Customs office prevented the traffic of a large quantity of culture and historical objects. These were different antique objects of special significance, made of a white and yellow metal, bronze and stone with an overall weight of 15 kilograms. The artifacts were hidden in a car under Czech registration. The vehicle was intercepted when trying to leave the country through the Danube Bridge – Vidin border checkpoint. Three Czech nationals have been arrested.
