The song 7 /Seven/ is from the latest album of the P.I.F. band, called P.I.F.4. In October the musicians had a different concert at Sofia Live Club. Front man Dimo Stoyanov, who wrote and composed 7, gives us details:

“We aimed a challenge at our fans. We gave them an idea to shoot their 7 words and to create small videos, illustrating the subject. It was a chance for everyone to speak up his or her 7 words, which are thrilling and important to his/her life. We gathered the videos received and screened them at the club, while playing. Of course, their authors were at the hall as well. The screening went really interesting, as the main words among the many 7s were family, love, health and forgiveness…"

Irina Florin had her debut onstage in the 1990s. Her latest album, the 4th one in her career was released in 2001 and was named V Treto Lice. It became Album of the Year 2002 due to two of the pieces. Irina Florin has been releasing singles only ever since. The latest one is called Three – written by Vania Shtereva and composed by Momchil Kolev. Georgi Georgiev from the Ostava band arranged it and the song has a video too.

Nora Karaivanova continues to bring joy to her fans with new songs. The latest one is named Amazing and it is in English. It was composed and arranged by guitar player Biser Ivanov, who has been her partner onstage and in life over the past few years. Nora wrote the lyrics of the piece. Amazing has its Bulgarian version, but with a different arrangement. There is an original video with the song as well.

Mariana Popova also has a new single, inspired by autumn and entitled I Know. It is a first joint project with young violin player Desislava Kondova – a laureate at many national and international contests. She has composed and arranged the song, while Mariana is the author of the lyrics. The stylish video, directed by Niki Skerlev has also been inspired by her idea.

Jazz trumpet player Mikhail Yosifov has been invited for a second time to tour with the Pink Martini band. Barely two months have passed since their first joint meeting and the summer tour they did together. Soon after, the musician joined the band for their European tour. It includes 17 concerts, starting from Holland. Pink Martini presents there its latest show – Get Happy. Next come Switzerland, Great Britain, Belgium and France.

The new musical season will be obviously successful once again for Mikhail Yosifov. After the concert of his jazz sextet in Rome in September, within the frameworks of Sofia Greets Rome festival, Misho and trombone player Vili Stoyanov joined their next music adventure. This is the series of concerts of the Combo Brass Association, which will bring joy to the fans of good music each Friday till end-May 2015 at Studio 5 in Sofia. The audience will see a colorful program with many guest musicians.
