Hristo Stoichkov gives Vladimir Putin copies of his most treasured awards

Famous Bulgarian football player Hristo Stoichkov will give Russian President Vladimir Putin copies of his most valuable individual awards – the Golden Ball for 1994 as well as his two Golden Boots – the 1990 France Football and the 1994 World Cup Golden Boot. Stoichkov will give Putin the copies at a meeting in the Kremlin next spring, Meridian Match writes. Hristo Stoichkov is making this gesture in connection with the world championship in Russia in 2018.  He may be joining Russia‘s campaign for the event‘s organization, the newspaper writes.
