Bulgarian Foreign Minister Daniel Mitov says Russia proved it did not want to comply with EU laws

Terminating the South Stream project in the EU is indicative of the fact that Russia is not willing to comply with the laws operating in the EU, said in Brussels Foreign Minister Daniel Mitov. Bulgaria's decision to require access of other suppliers to the South Stream pipeline has been taken by the Bulgarian authorities because it defends Bulgarian interests, the Minister added, pointing out that Bulgaria is a sovereign state and its legally elected parliament and government decide what is best for the country and citizens.
