The favorite singer of several generations, Margarita Hranova, will again bring delight to her fans with a new album. She is one of few native artists who have not stopped holding concerts over the years. On 10 March in a Sofia-based music club she will present her new project entitled Until when, Margarita? which contains twenty songs.

"I have chosen songs which I think are very nice and interesting”, the artist says in an interview for Radio Bulgaria. “Most of them I sang over the last three years, but they were not released until now. The title of the album "Until when, Margarita?" comes from its pilot song. It was written by Milen Makedonski more than twenty years ago, but only now has the time come for me to perform it. Margarita Petkova is the author of many beautiful poems which I used. For the first time I sang "Until when, Margarita?" two years ago at the Sofia Sings contest and received an award. I have included in the project also brand new songs with an interesting history. I met two young composers on the Internet, Goran Kalinov and Ivan Krastev. They wrote for me compositions "Give me wings" and "I will banish.” I hope people will like them. I have a new author on the album - Kalin Dimitrov who offered me his song "Give me summer." I think that will be a hit in the coming summer. I also intend to make a video to it. I love working with young people, there must be continuity between generations. I am glad that I am appreciated by them as a performer and they offer me their songs. "

Margi Hranova's new album also reserves place for her older hits, but in new arrangements such as Ustrem, We Stay from the Bulgarian movie Orchestra without a Name... Another interesting fact is the challenge that the singer accepted with her participation at the Pirin Folk song contest. With the song Prayer for Us she won the first prize. It was written by Veli Chaoushev and Valentin Penzov in a pop style combined with ethnic motives. What are the singer's plans for this year?

"We will make this year a great concert in memory of composer Nayden Andreev. It will include all the songs written by him over the years both for me and for my other colleagues. We will present them in arrangements for symphony orchestra and choir. Conductor will be Levon Manokyan. In the summer we want to present this project in the cities that have philharmonic ensembles. On 25 November we will show it to the audience in Sofia in Hall 1 of the National Palace of Culture."

On March 10, during the promotion of her new album Margi Hranova will present also her illustrated biography entitled The Minutes I Scattered with Love. It shows the singer in pictures during her long creative path. The idea and realization of the book is of journalist Ivan Georgiev.
