US armored vehicles arrive at the airport of Burgas

Stryker machines of the US army were unloaded from transport planes at Sarafovo Airport in Burgas and arrived at the Novo Selo training ground, the BGNES agency informs. The military equipment will take part in the NATO military exercises as part of the Operation Atlantic Resolve. Nearly 350 US military are to take part in the drill as well as US tanks and copters. In the next three months the exercises will be joined by a dozen of F-15 planes if the American air force. The Atlantic resolve of the Alliance aim to demonstrate that the USA are engaged with the security of their partners in NATO in the context of the tension caused by Russian activities in Ukraine and the annexation of Crimea. Moscow views these military exercises as a provocation.
