PM Borissov: Sofia hopes to see Russia sanctions dropped

Bulgaria is doing its best to rebuild normal relations with Russia, Bulgarian PM Boyko Borissov has told the Russian news agency TASS. "We are trying our best to restore normal relations that have long tradition, because their worsening has resulted in losses for us”, Borissov was quoted as saying. He sees a good future in developing bilateral cooperation in tourism, trade and agriculture where there is untapped potential for growth. Borissov has voiced hopes that the anti-Russia sanctions will be dropped soon. “Everybody is a loser in this situation”, the Bulgarian prime minister has said.
