The Council of Ministers has endorsed a national strategy for the development of the mining industry until 2030 with a top priority – the sustainable development of the mining industry in Bulgaria. Other priorities include: guaranteeing a stable investment environment, introducing an effective control systemof the prospecting, extraction and processing of underground natural resources and prevention of illegal mining in the country.
