Kiril Nikolov, aka Diesel has joined the fund-raising campaign for the renovation of the Ambaritsa mountain cabin in the heart of the Balkan range. Kiril Nikolov’s name came into the spotlight when he set a high-speed record, covering the longest tourist itinerary in Bulgaria (600 kms), from Kom Peak to Cape Emine, along the Balkan range ridge, in less than five days, which as he himself puts it “took him beyond his own limits”. By joining the campaign Kiril Nikolov is hoping sufficient funds will be raised to renovate the popular cabin Ambaritsa which has, for fifty years, served as mountain home to thousands of tourists.
