Burgas citizens charge their phones in futurist trees

The Bulgarian municipality of Burgas has planted the first solar trees, where anyone can charge for free his or her mobile devices while resting. The futurist installation can be found downtown. The description of the FIESTA project funded by the Intelligent Energy – Europe program says that solar trees provide places to sit, working area and interesting night illumination. They transform solar energy from the photovoltaic panels through the day and use it to charge the devices plugged in.
