Bulgaria’s Police detained a man suspected of making a false bomb threat that had resulted in extra security measures at Sofia Airport on Wednesday night, Bulgaria’s Ministry of Interior announced. A twenty-year old man phoned the airport authorities from a public telephone booth in the city of Stara Zagora (Central South Bulgaria), claiming that a passenger with a bomb in his luggage would arrive at Sofia Airport on Wednesday night. The man was arrested for 72 hours by the Police department in Stara Zagora. The authorities already started to investigate the case.
