The Bulgarian Ministry of Foreign Affairs has expressed concern over the “thawed” Nagorno-Karabakh conflict between Armenia and Azerbaijan and called on the sides to refrain from the use of force.

In a special statement, the Ministry reaffirms Bulgaria’s position of principle that there is no other way to resolve the conflict save by peaceful means, by way of negotiations and the mediation of the OSCE Minsk Group, in conjunction with the EU and in an active dialogue between the leaders of the two countries.
