Bulgaria’s National Assembly launches a Doors Open Day on Saturday, the press center of the Parliament announced. The initiative is held on occasion of the Constitution Day and the 200th birth anniversary of Exarch Antim 1. The Doors Open Day begins at 10am and is to end at 3pm. National Assembly President Tsetska Tsacheva is to welcome students in law, political science, history, philosophy and sociology at the National Assembly. The visitors have the opportunity to see the four original Bulgarian constitutions dating back to 1879, 1947, 1971 and 1991. Sixteen information boards will present information about the life and the activity of Exarch Antim 1. Visitors can also find information about the establishment of the Bulgarian exarchate and the work of the Founding Assembly after 1879. The exhibition is launched jointly with the National Church Museum of History and Archaeology, the Regional Museum of History in Veliko Tarnovo, The Archives State Agency and the Klisurski Monastery of Saint Cyril and Saint Methodius.
