Georgi Ivanov wins 8th Olympic quota for Bulgarian wrestling

Georgi Ivanov has won an 8th Olympic quota for Bulgarian wrestling. At the qualification tournament in Ulan Bator (Mongolia) he reached the final in the 74 kg category in freestyle wrestling. This is tantamount to a visa for the Olympic Games in Rio in August. At the final Ivanov who lives and works in USA lost to incumbent European champion Soner Demirtas with 1:12. Before that he scored three wins: versus Moldovan Evgeny Nedyalko with 9:6, German Georg Hart with 6:0 and Hungarian Mihaly Nagy 10:7.
