Bulgaria denies affirmations of German intelligence about weaknesses related to control over traffickers

Bulgaria’s Minister of Interior Rumiana Bachvarova denied affirmations of the German intelligence, quoted in German media, about weaknesses regarding control over human traffickers along the Bulgarian-Turkish border. Earlier, German media announced that according to a confidential report of the German cabinet, the inflow of migrants into Europe has been redirected to Bulgaria and that “as a result of the measures taken in the Aegean Sea, the traffickers have started to focus on an alternative route- from Turkey through Bulgaria.
