Bulgarian Prime Minister Boyko Borissov and European Council President Donald Tusk have discussed big energy projects that could be implemented in the territory of Bulgaria. The meeting in Brussels was held at the initiative of Donald Tusk as a follow-up of a conversation over the phone of the two leaders last week. During the talks Premier Borissov has demanded a clear and categorical position of the European Commission and its institutions about the gas transiting hub. He put the issue of coordinating consequent actions of Bulgaria following the ruling of the Court of Arbitration in Geneva on the commercial dispute between the National Electric Company and Atomstroyexport over Belene N-plant. Donald Tusk has vowed he would inform the Bulgarian government within short notice on how European institutions will respond on issues tabled by Prime Minister Boyko Borissov and has given assurances this country will receive a EU position on the energy projects.
