Good results for Bulgarian athletes at championship in Amsterdam

Inna Eftimova qualified for the 200 meters semifinals at the European Athletics Championships in Amsterdam. Eftimova clocked 11.39 seconds, finishing 4th in her qualification series.

Georgi Tsonov and Momchil Karailiev qualified for the finals in the triple jump, men. Tsonov came 5th in the qualifications with 16.65 meters which means he has a guaranteed place in the finals. Karailiev came 7th with 16.59 meters.

Radoslava Mavrodieva qualified for the shot put finals at 17.16 meters in her best attempt. Mavrodieva is the third Bulgarian finalist at the championships, after Ivet Lalova in the 200 meters and Mirela Demireva in the high jump who cleared the qualification norm of 192 cms.
