The Sofia City Court has declined to register the new party Democrats for Responsibility, Freedom and Tolerance (DOST), founded by breakaway members of the Movement for Rights and Freedoms (DPS). The court ruled that the abbreviation DOST is a Turkish word and that the new party is ethnic, as most of its members are ethnic Turks. The decision can be appealed at the Supreme Court of Cassation.
