Romania’s Energy Minister Grigorescu: gas interconnection between Romania and Bulgaria is important for whole region

Bulgaria and Romania are working very hard this summer on the construction of the gas interconnection and we expect that the main pipeline will be completed by the end of 2016, Romania’s Minister of Energy Victor Grigorescu told media. In Minister Grigorescu’s words, that was a very difficult project from a technical point of view. However, my excellent cooperation with Bulgaria’s Minister of Energy Temenuzhka Petkova contributes to the fulfillment of the gas interconnection project, Victor Grigorescu went on to say. That project is important to Bulgaria, Romania and to the whole region. It is a wonderful example of how regional cooperation can improve the energy security of Bulgaria and Romannia, Minister Grigorescu said.
