Uncertain economic environment keeps hindering business in Bulgaria

In July, the business climate index in Bulgaria decreased by 0.9 points in comparison to the previous month. Less favorable business climate was observed in the sector of services, while the situation in industry and retail trade remained approximately the same in comparison to June. Improvement has been marked only in construction business. In the past month increase of the negative effects of the so-called “competition factor” was seen as the "uncertain economic environment" remained second in the list. Speaking about market prices managers forecast their level will remain the same over the next three months.
