Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu said that his country would send a delegation to Bulgaria to demand the extradition of a person who was believed to be linked to the organization of Fetullah Gulen. Gulen is accused of being the head of the failed armed coup Turkey on July 15. Cavusoglu made the comments during a rally in Antalya in support of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan. "Some of the criminals who tried to kill President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, managed to escape, but they will not be able to hide, because we have all the forces - institutions, police, army. They will be caught sooner or later, wherever they are," Cavusoglu said without specifying names, BNR correspondent in Istanbul, Nahide Deniz, reported. So far, the Bulgarian Ministry of Justice has not received an official request from Turkish authorities about extradition of a Turkish citizen, linked to terrorist activities.
