Bulgaria’s national flag hoisted in Olympic Village in Rio de Janeiro

The Bulgarian national flag was hoisted at the Olympic Village in Rio de Janeiro in the presence of Bulgarian athletes, coaches, officials and representatives of foreign Olympic delegations. The largest group consisting of 15 Bulgarian athletes arrived in Rio several hours later due to a flight delay. On Tuesday evening another group of Bulgarian athletes, including best female tennis player Tsvetana Pironkova and the Bulgarian Rhythmic Gymnastics Team, is to depart to Rio de Janeiro.
