Level of education in Bulgaria in 2015, Eurostat report

A Eurostat report on levels of education in the EU in 2015 indicates that around 30 percent of Bulgarians aged 30 to 34 have university degrees. The strategic target is for this percentage in this age bracket to reach around 40 percent by 2020. In the 24-54 category, people with university degrees also account for around one third of the population and people with a secondary school education – for around 54 percent. People with university degrees in the 28 EU member countries account for around 40 percent of the population.
