Bulgaria with first medal in Rio

On the 12th day of the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro 21-year-old debutant in wrestling Elitsa Yankova won the first medal in these games for Bulgaria – third place and bronze in the 48 kg category. She succeeded in a dramatic match versus Argentinean Patricia Alexandra Bermudez that ended 7:6 in favor of the Bulgarian athlete.
