Autumn session of Bulgarian parliament has started

At the beginning of its autumn session, the Bulgarian National Assembly rejected the request of the Bulgarian Socialist Party for explanations from Prime Minister Boyko Borisov about his recent visits to Turkey and Germany. The Socialists accuse Borisov that he acted as a "messenger" of Ankara in its dispute with the EU over the refugee issue. The ruling GERB party say the actions of the PM were driven by national interests in the sphere of security. During the autumn session the party will be working for the adoption of laws and legal amendments that are to guarantee maximum security of the borders. BSP aims to show another way for the development of Bulgaria through actions rather than words both at local and international level. The primary objective of the DPS will be holding early parliamentary elections after the presidential.
