Bulgaria and Macedonia to cooperate in searching for new markets for agricultural production

Cooperation between small and medium farmers is the foundation of sustainable agriculture, Bulgarian Minister of Agriculture and Food Desislava Taneva said after a meeting with Macedonian counterpart Mikhail Tsvetkov, which took place in Sofia. The two ministers discussed the possibilities of finding new markets for their agricultural production. Minister Taneva said the center for promoting cooperation in agriculture between China and the countries of Central and Eastern Europe, based in Bulgaria, assisted Macedonia for opening a stand in the integrated zone area for cross-border commerce in Hangzhou, China, where Bulgaria’s western neighbor will be able to offer agricultural products.
