Photo: library

A month and a half before the presidential elections in Bulgaria, Alpha Research Agency registered low trust in key institutions in this country.

The National Assembly has 8 percent of approval, the Prosecutor General – 10 percent, government 16 percent, and the president enjoys 21 percent of trust. 57 percent of Bulgarians with the right to vote say they would use this right during the upcoming elections, while 51 percent voice willingness to participate in the referendum that is to be held simultaneously with the elections.

The presidential candidate of the ruling GERB party is still unknown and no specific forecasts about the results of the elections could be made, authors of the poll say.
