Bulgarian naval officers will be able to join operations of the Hellenic Navy, the Commander of the Bulgarian Navy Rear Admiral Mitko Petev has said after singing a memo of understanding for exchange of staff with the Chief of the Hellenic Navy General Staff Vice Admiral Georgios Giakoumakis. Rear Admiral Mitko Petev has said that operations will be under the umbrella of NATO and the European Union.
