The Central Election Commission will be holding consultations with parliamentary parties and coalitions. The discussions are related to proposals for members of electoral commissions abroad during the elections for president and vice president and the national referendum, taking place on November 6, 2016. Consultations will be held at a time when changes in the Electoral Code have not been adopted yet. They envisage lifting the limit of 35 voting stations per EU country. A record number of Bulgarians abroad have applied for voting in the presidential elections. They are more than 34,000. The highest number of applications has come from the UK, Turkey, Germany and the United States.
