Runoff expected at upcoming Bulgarian presidential elections

Photo: BGNES

Analysts say that the upcoming presidential elections in Bulgaria will most likely head into runoff between GERB candidate Tsetska Tsacheva and Rumen Radev, supported by the Bulgarian Socialist Party. The expected presence of an option "I do not support anyone," as well as the support of different parties for candidates during the second round, however, could change the situation. Therefore, data reflect only general attitudes. Currently Radev enjoys support of 32.1 percent, while Tsacheva has 31.3 percent of support.
