Over 213 million euros of budget 2017 to be spent for science

Over 213 million euros will be spent for science in Bulgaria next year. The budget of the Bulgarian Academy of Science will be raised by 6.8 percent from a level of 37 to 40 million euros. The rise for universities will reach 2.8 percent, it was reported. Another 177 million euros will be spent for science under the "Science and Education for Smart Growth" OP. Most of the funds will reach BAS, it was announced. Young scientists will be stimulated under a project totaling 1 million euros.
