Presidential elections in Bulgaria were well organized technically and were conducted in compliance with fundamental freedoms. This is the conclusion of the 8-member delegation of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe and the Venice Commission, who paid a visit to Bulgaria in the period November 3 to 7, in order to observe the presidential elections. However, they also expressed concern about the accuracy of voter lists and changes in election laws ahead of elections.
