Current situation in region of Serres is calm despite planned roadblocks

Current situation at the Bulgarian-Greek border is calm despite protests by Greek farmers from Serres and previously voiced plans that blockades on major roads would take place.

So far roads in the area remain open, it was reported. Yesterday protesting farmers managed to block for an hour the road to the Promachonas border crossing with Bulgaria.
