This was announced by professor Hristo Pimpirev, Chairman of the Board of the Bulgarian Antarctic Institute. The two bases situated on the Livingston Island are about 5 kilometers apart.

The ongoing 25-th Bulgarian Antarctic expedition includes a total of 32 scientists and the first group of them departed to the icy continent in November.
