Strandzha boxing tournament extended due to great interest

Executive Director of the Bulgarian Boxing Federation, Svetoslav Sapundzhiev, has announced that thanks to the huge interest shown in this year's edition of the Strandzha Cup, the tournament will be extended.

The 68th edition of the boxing tournament will be held in the period February 21 to 26 February in the Sofia Hall in the Bulgarian capital city. More than 280 competitors from 35 countries will take part in the event. Among the boxers who are to compete there are European, world and Olympic medalists from China, Ukraine, the USA, Russia, Azerbaijan and Great Britain, it was reported.
